The United States of America has been hi-jacked. The forces that have enabled this to happen have been in play for a long time, and in 2021 we are witnessing the culmination of all these things come to fruition, and we stand on the brink of destruction as a nation. This does not mean that when all this has taken place this land mass we currently call “The United States of America” will no longer be here. Unless some natural disaster or war destroys the continent, it will. It may still be called “The United States of America”, or it may be called something else, but it will no longer be the United States of America we know and love, as such. It is hardly that even now.
There are, and have been so many forces at play, it is hard to know where to start in analyzing all this. Perhaps a brief examination of the country’s origin and development is a good starting point. The Unites States has never been a perfect nation. A perfect nation has never existed on the face of this planet since God created mankind and gave him rule over the earth. Kingdoms, empires and nations have risen to all eventually fall through the course of time. Some nations have been better than others. Some have done a better job of maintaining freedom and justice for their citizens or subjects than others. When I use the words “nation(s)” and “citizens” I may be referring to either kingdoms, empires, or nations, and peoples, subjects or citizens.
In stating that the United States of America has never been a “perfect” nation, in no way implies that it has not been a “good” nation. Comparatively speaking, it has been one of, if not THE best of nations in the sense of establishing a unique Constitution and governmental structure for the purpose of establishing freedom and justice for its citizens.
Without a theistic worldview it is not possible to rightly understand the birth and development of the USA. While all the founding fathers were not specifically Christian, all of them were at least deists, and they framed our constitution from this worldview. The driving principles behind the constitution are; man created by God and given rights by God not dependent on government. The founding fathers understood that God is the final authority, not government. Government is instituted by God to maintain social order. Good government that serves this purpose is a blessing. Bad government that aims at objectives outside these bounds are a curse.
Our constitution is an “ideal”, penned by the founding fathers to establish a nation unlike any that had previously existed. We have not always lived up to that ideal, just as in our personal lives we do not always live up to the ideals that we hold. The fact that we fail to live up to the ideal never invalidates the ideal itself, and never excuses us from the need to return to it.
While it is true that there were indigenous peoples inhabiting what is now the United States of America before settlers came from Europe, the same thing can be said of Canada, Central America and South America. They were ALL overran by settlers from afar. That is not to justify the taking of land from indigenous peoples, but it is certainly not unique to the United States. It Is hard to understand all the specifics of what exactly happened, how and when, because we know next to nothing of the history of the people’s that inhabited all three continents before around the 1200’s. Although I am sure oral traditions exist within the groups, there is little to no written history.
From what we do know, the idea that the indigenous peoples were just peaceful people living off the land in harmony with nature and in touch with their spiritual powers is not entirely accurate. They were very tribalized, and often savagely at war with each other. The “white” settlers did often break treaties and brutalize the indigenous people, but the indigenous people just as readily often broke treaties they had made with the settlers and brutalized them, so the blame lies on both sides, not just strictly the “white” settlers. I am well aware of the many injustices done to the indigenous people in the establishment of this nation, and in no way seek to justify any of the atrocities, but the popular narrative is somewhat skewed in laying the blame solely at the feet of “white” settlers. As is the case in most issues, the truth lies in the middle rather than extremes.
We also have the dark stain of slavery on our nation’s history, which cannot be denied. Slavery of any kind is always evil. Decent people abhor slavery in all forms and work to abolish it. We must never seek to justify the use of slaves in the United States, however the popular narrative regarding slavery in the USA is often inaccurate. First, the idea that European slave traders were capturing Africans is mostly not true. The slaves were first captured by Africans from other warring tribes and sold to the slave traders. Africans were enslaving other Africans and selling them. Slavery in many forms has existed since the beginning of time. It did not originate in the Southeast region of the United States, and slave owners also lived in many of the northern states. Many righteous, god-fearing white people worked tirelessly to see slavery abolished in the United States, and many also worked to ensure black people in the United States were granted equal rights in the 1960s. While it cannot be denied that racism towards blacks and other ethnic groups still exists in the United States to some extent, to say in this day and time that the United States is systemically racist is not true. Stop listening to the media chatter, and watch how people interact in your community, in the grocery store, on your job, in your church, in your neighborhood. Do you see evidence of systemic racism? I don’t. As a society we have moved beyond that now. That is not to say that some racists do not still exist, but we, as a society are not systemically racist.
Regarding racism, there has emerged a new form of racism in recent years. It is racism towards what we refer to as “white” people by those who consider themselves as “people of color” which in itself is a stupid expression because the term “colored people” is considered insulting, but “people of color” is not. You are basically saying the same thing. This makes no sense. That is like saying calling people “short” is insulting but referring to them as “people who are not tall” is not! All this is just silly and unnecessary linguistic gymnastics that serves no purpose. All people have a color. We are all technically “colored people”! I have honestly never seen a “black” person or a “white” person. We are all shades of brown to some extent, not black and white. Racism is racism, it goes both ways. Anytime you make assumptions about anyone’s worth or character based on any immutable characteristic, you are practicing “racism”.
No decent, right thinking person would disagree with the statement, “Black lives matter.” Black lives certainly matter. All lives matter. The life of the unborn child in the womb matters. However, what people need to understand is that the organization that goes by the name “Black Lives Matter” is a radical, Marxists organization whose objective is to tear down the very fabric of our society, and a few of the leaders of that organization have become extremely wealthy through the donations of well-intended, but ill informed contributors. They intentionally perpetuate a narrative of systemic racism in the United States that is not grounded in reality.
History is what it is. It can’t be undone. We need to learn from our past and move on in a positive way. What we need to do, realistically is look at right now. We live right now. We do not live back then, and the people that live right now are not responsible for the things done by their ancestors. To say that they are is nonsense. The whole idea of reparations in our current age is ridiculous. It’s like saying if my great-grandfather owned a store, and your great-grandfather robbed him, then now you owe me money. The idea is ridiculous and is not realistic. That is not how reality works.
The politicians and media outlets that perpetuate these false narratives are doing so intentionally to entice strife and division. Their aim is to destroy the United States from the inside-out. They think their job is to tear it down to the ground and build a new society. This is a Marxist idea that always turns out badly. Study history. Marxism always leads to repression, poverty and abuse of the masses by the rich, elitist hypocrites who do not themselves live by the standards they dictate everyone else should live by. (Does “Animal Farm” ring a bell?) History proves that there have been more people killed by totalitarian governments (murdering their own citizens) than all the world’s wars combined. Karl Marx was an evil, demonically inspired man who hated mankind and wanted to burn the world down. Ironically, many of his ideas have been espoused by ignorant people with utopian dreams of creating a perfect world. God already created a perfect world and put us in charge of managing (stewarding) it. We have done a poor job because we have not followed God’s direction and sought to do it our own way. This approach has never worked, and it never will.
The Chinese Communist Party has been slowly and methodically planning the downfall and overthrow of the United States of America for a long time. I would strongly encourage a reading of “How the Specter of Communism is Ruling our World” published by the Epoch Times, for anyone who is interested in learning how this has come about. Our current, illegal, fraudulently elected president, Joe Biden, has been in bed with Communist China for a long time. Joe Biden is a liar with no political convictions whatsoever. If you listen to his words for the last 47 years in politics, he has contradicted himself so many times it is mind numbing. His family has become extremely wealthy through his political connections, and his son, Hunter is the worse. To top off the fact that Joe Biden is a dishonest, opportunist, he is now senile. The United States currently faces many serious security threats from several hostile nations, and we have a dishonest, senile, fraudulently elected commander in chief.
All the institutions established in the United States to maintain law and order, military security, judicial fairness, the implementation of the will of the majority through the democratic process, etc., have been corrupted and are now rotten to the core. We are in serious trouble. Even the Supreme Court, which is supposed to be the last stop, has been politicized and corrupted. There is ample evidence to prove that the 2020 election was stolen from Donald Trump and Joe Biden was put in office in a fraudulent manner against the will of the American People, and the Supreme Court would not even consider looking into the evidence. Mike Pence, the former vice president was frightened by the invasion of Congress on January 6th 2021 and in his cowardice, he refused to take the action he could have taken to return the contested ballots to their states for re-examination. Mike Pence lost all credibility as a serious leader in my opinion. I will no longer support him.
The institutions that have long existed to investigate criminal matters and maintain law and order, namely the FBI, CIA and the Department of Justice, have all been infected with rot from the inside out and have been politically weaponized by unscrupulous people for the implementation of particular political agendas. They no longer serve to protect law abiding citizens, but rather work to undermine law and order in the pursuit of political agenda.
How will all this pan out in our future? Only God knows. He is ultimately in control over all of history. In the book of Revelation, we read of the fall of “Babylon”. In the symbolic sense, Babylon has always represented Man’s godless world system. It is always doomed to fall because it is based on man’s attempt to control his own reality divorced from the very One who created it, namely God. The current state of affairs in the United States of America appears very much like Babylon. Are we on the verge of collapse? It very much appears so right now. We want God to step in and save us from this mess. God has already done His utmost to provide for our salvation by becoming incarnate in the person of Jesus Christ, allowing Himself to be crucified at the hands of demonically possessed mankind as an offering for our sin, and then rising from the dead to prove His power over life and death, and give those who would turn to Him forgiveness of their sins, and eternal life.
I don’t know if God will intervene in the affairs of the USA right now to turn the tide of our demise. That is up to Him, but personally, I am not banking on that happening. I want to be prepared EVERY DAY to meet the KING when HE returns and ushers in HIS Kingdom. If things get circumstantially better in the United States before that happens, that would be great also, but that is not where my hope lies. He gave us a great country, and we blew it royally. I am watching for the King of Glory to split the eastern sky and usher His people home, black, white, red, brown, yellow from every kingdom and tribe over the whole earth, those who have made their robes clean and been washed in the blood of the Lamb! Praise His Holy Name!
